Your new patient exam and consultation will take about an hour. After completing digital registration forms, you will undergo a safe and fast series of digital X-ray. In fact, you can watch the X-ray image on a screen right in front of you while we are taking the images. We may also capture intraoral images of your teeth and gums, as well as perform an oral cancer screening exam with ViziLite Plus.

Dr. Wilmore will then proceed with a thorough dental exam and cleaning. She and her dental team will discuss with you about proper homecare and oral hygiene. If you have signs of periodontal disease, she will discuss special deep cleanings that can restore your oral health.

Before you leave, Dr. Wilmore will discuss her findings and treatment options with you. From there a treatment plan will be derived, our treatment coordinator will discuss the financial aspect with you. Once this is done and you are satisfied, your next appointment will be scheduled.
